CHAD HLADKI - Why I ride for Will is because , plain and simple, he’d ride for me. I couldn’t count on all my fingers or toes the amount of things he added to my life. things I carry with me everyday. Anytime I see a mountain bike, I see the image of him riding ahead of me. Truth be told, I didn’t ride with Will as much as I should have because frankly I had no chance of ever keeping up with him, but he’d wait for you and encourage you to keep on going. I ride for Will because I miss my friend and I wish I could get smoked by him on a trail one more time.. or have one more jam, and listen to him rip the harmonica. Fortunately for me, I see Will not only on mountain bikes, but in music, baseball, budweisers, fishing poles, and having deep pockets .. I mean this very literally: his pockets were endless, mythical places that were always full of whatever was needed at that moment, without fail. Bottom line, I ride for Will because with out him my past would have been so much less rich. I ride for Will in the name of those memories, and our memory of him, arent held in vain.
